Abstract
The role of gene promoter methylation in head and neck has been well described but with numerous methods available to detect and quantify methylation, it is unclear which methods give valuable functional data. The aim of this study is to evaluate promoter methylation quantitation using recently described pyrosequencing techniques by correlation with mRNA expression.
